Set between the stunning Mijas Mountains and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, La Cala, is one of the finest golf resorts in all of Spain.
Across this 4 day trip, you will enjoy all three of the resort's 18-hole courses, each of which offers distinct characteristics and topography from wide-open fairways to more challenging, narrow sections, framed by utterly breathtaking vistas of the Andalucian countryside. Spend your downtime enjoying the many facilities on offer, which include 5 different bars and restaurants, an outdoor pool and terrace and a spa, (to name but a few), and spend your nights in one of the beautiful suites.
Suitable for would-be-pros and beginners alike, this 4-day break is the perfect way to relax with other like-minded golfers. Every detail is taken care of, so all you'll need to bring is your swing!
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative who will drive you to the resort where you'll be shown to your suite and have time to unpack and get settled. Later, you'll enjoy a delicious welcome dinner with the rest of the group. Enjoy a few beers or whiskies, or perhaps an orange juice, and prepare to shave some digits off your handicap the following day.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast then grab your clubs and head to the resort's Campo America course, which boasts spectacular views of the mountains and sea.
With wide linked fairways and relatively few bunkers, this course is slightly easier for driving but has a hilly topography and small raised greens which demand precise club selection in order to hit the mark.
After the golf clubs are put away, head back to the resort to relax in any way you choose.
Today you'll be playing at Campo Asia, the oldest of the resort's courses, and the one that is most respected by professionals.
A challenging course, it's both narrow and short, with four par 5 holes that demand both skill and strategy.
After your game, you're free to do as you please, whether that's enjoying a drink in the Clubhouse bar and restaurant with others from the group, a massage at the spa, or perhaps a poolside cocktail.
It's our last round of golf so be sure to soak it all in. Today you'll be playing at Campo Europa, a dramatic, and picturesque course, notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways.
With generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than the other two courses, it's a great all-rounder and the perfect setting for your final game.
Following your game, it's time for a Winners Ceremony, (complete with medals!) followed by a leaving dinner, and then, time to depart to the airport.
