Widely recognized as one of the most gay-friendly cities in Asia, the Taiwanese capital is home to a thriving gay community and every year, plays host to the largest Pride parade in the region.
Remarkably, the event is not yet 20 years old, inaugurated in 2003 with just a few hundred participants, whilst today, it attracts hundreds of thousands of people from across East Asia and further afield, for 4 days of partying, parades and entertainment!
Unlike most parades across the globe which are held in late June, (the official pride month) Taipei Pride takes place in October, and will return in 2021 with 4 days of festivities encompassing all manner of concerts, events and parties, rainbow bus tours of the city’s main LGBT landmarks and attractions, the trademark rainbow market, and of course the parade itself!
28 - 31 October 2021.
If you’re travelling from the UK, China Airlines operate direct flights from London Heathrow to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, whilst there are also a number of 1 stop options.
The weather in Taipei in October is generally warm and dry with average daily highs of 27°C.

Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!
