Itinerary
Day 1- Meeting & Set Up
Get picked up from the airport and dropped off in our luxury villa to unpack and get settled. We'll bring the bikes direct to the villa for you to test with a quick sin and ensure it's a perfect fit before preparing a gourmet buffer dinner for the evening. Then rest well and prepare for the weeks ride ahead.
Day 2- Coll de Soller - 80km
A lush ride to acclimatise us to the region with a reasonably testing climb to start the week. Climb to the Coll de Soller summit starting in the town of Soller. The climb seems very straight forward until a few kilometres have been traversed when the hairpin bends begin. The road undulates with frequency and coils up the mountain to reveal some piercingly scenic views.
Day 3- Port de Valldemossa climb - 100km
We begin with the committal descent to Valldemossa beach and Port, through forested mountain side. Once we've reached the beach you'll be escorted out to 180 degree views of the Mediterranean with golden sand and azul skies. Even cooler is how narrow the path is meaning you won't be passing coaches and other large vehicles en-route. The restaurant at the bottom serves some delightful dishes that will fuel you for the 5km category 2 climb on the way back.
Day 4- Puig de Randa - 120km
Find the best views today at the top of the hill where you'll find Mallorca’s first monastery, built in the 13th Century. Unlike many of Mallorca’s best cycling climbs Puig de Randa is in the middle of the island. While climbing Puig de Randa, you will find 3 separate hermitages: Santuari de Nostra Senyora de Gracia (370m), Ermita de Sant Honorat (450m), Santuari de Cura.
Day 5- Puig de San Salvador - 100km
Todays route culminates with a staggeringly scenic climb in Eastern Mallorca. Whilst the view from the summit is something to behold, it's the climbs majesty that makes it stand out from the rest of the islands routes. Religious monuments bookmark the way and the average gradient of 6% is slightly steeper than the rest of the island, making it a string of sites you'll earn along the way.
Day 6- Catch A Tan On A Catamaran
It's time to celebrate your achievements and come together with your group with a gorgeous day out on a catamaran! We've pedalled over 400km by now and our legs are desperate to be kicked up on the side of a boat whilst we soak in the sun, our hard work and the turquoise blue waters of the mediteranean sea. Complete with drinks and fresh bbq seafood, it's rest and recovery at it's finest.
Day 7- Head Home
Enjoy a goodbye breakfast in the villa and if you're up early enough, enjoy one last dip in the swimming pool. Our team will escort you to the airport and take care of returning the bikes and all of the administrative tasks making saying goodbye that little bit easier.
