Day 1 - Cave Hotel Check In - Free Evening
Luxurious and Boutique are just buzzwords when it comes to hotels, what is truly special about this stay is it's setting carved into the Caspian rock, bringing us closer to the natural environment whilst providing a remarkably cosy hub to call home for our stay. Once you've settled in why not try head out and sample a variety of Anatolian and Turkish dishes at the sumptuous restaurant Seten? The yaprak sarma (rice wrapped in vine leaves and cooked in a tandir oven) are particularly moreish.
Day 2 - Southern Cappadocia Tour including Kaymakli Underground City
This full day epic trip will whisk you to the Southern region of Cappadocia and unearths the mysteries and speculation surrounding the Kaymakli Underground City. You'll also get to slice through the vibrantly multicoloured Red Valley and peruse the fairytale village of Çavuşin that has been carved entirely out of rock. Peek into the birdhouses embedded into the cliffs at Pigeon Valley and even get your hands dirty with a traditional pottery workshop in thw ancient town of Avanos. To ensure you're not famished a beautiful Turksih lunch wll be included aswell as all pickups and drop offs to make it extra convenient. After a day full of exploring and adventure, head out into Göreme and try some drinks out for size at the classy rooftop eatery at Mithra Terrace.
Day 3 - Balloon Ride and Breakfast - Traditional Turkish Bath
You've explored the city from all angles but one, it's time to witness the breathtaking ethereal moonlike landscapes of Cappadocia from above in this once in a lifetime Hot Air balloon ride. No trip to Cappadocia is complete without taking into the air and soaking in the volcanic rock formations and unique honeyed terrain beneath. Enjoy a complimentary buffer breakfast on arrival and be prepared to run out of camera space, because every second offers a shot worth capturing.
In the evening after coming down literally and metaphorically from the Hot Air Balloon ride, unwind and recant your favourite moments from the journey this far in a replenishing traditional Turkish Bath.
Day 4 - Free Morning - Sunset Horseback Riding
After an unforgettable day 3, use your morning to explore any remaining crevice's of Cappadocia you've yet to see, or simply head to a rooftop terrace and enjoy a wonderful spread of Turkish cuisine classics whilst watching the morning sky be littered with dozens of multicoloured hot air balloons. Before your last magical sunset, mount up and get ready to combine one of mother nature's most humbling of sunset destinations with a wonderful horseback ride across the Caspian corridors of carved volcanic rock. A truly unique and magnificent way to wrap up your trip to Cappadocia and another bookitlist item you'll never forget.
