It is located on the top of Swoyambhu hill from where the entire cityscape of Kathmandu is visible. It is very famous among Buddhists because it is an important Stupa in the Buddhism religion. It is an ancient religious architecture famous for Buddhists. A golden spire crowning a conical wooded hill, Swoyambhu Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu Valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are visible for many miles and from all sides of the valley.


There is a park full of trees and ancient gumbas where you can find peace and harmony. The entire area of Swoyambhu is full of surprises. The amazing Swoyambhu Stupa is visited by millions of tourists every year which is the sole reason why it is preserved by UNESCO properly. When you visit Kathmandu, Swoyambhunath Stupa is a place where you shall visit to find yourself in nature.
