So, why all the fuss? For starters, it’s one of the last hotels ever granted permission to open in Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed Canal District. Its 134 rooms and suites – by Dutch designer Piet Boon – are all about understated glamour, with canal, city, or courtyard views. Or, for next-level indulgence, you can book one of five traditional canal houses, complete with butler service.
