Each year, at the end of August, some 80,000 people descend on the temporary city of 'Black Rock', in the heart of the Nevada Desert, for an epic event like no other, guided by 10 key principals: radical inclusion, gifting, decommodification, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression, communal effort, civic responsibility, leaving no trace, participation, and immediacy.

Burning Man 2022
For the first time since 2019, Black Rock City will return to the Nevada Desert for the most epic Burning Man yet! The theme for 2022 is 'Waking Dream', and according to the festival website, this year's edition 'will explore the transformative power of dreams, both literal and figurative, and celebrate the dreamers who channel this potent energy in eye-opening, often surrealistic, sometimes life-changing ways.'

The 2022 Burning Man Festival begins on Sunday, 28th August and ends on Monday, 5th of September.
The site is located 120 miles north of Reno, Nevada which can be reached by flights from a number of cities including, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York. Once you arrive in Reno, you can drive to the site or take the coach which departs twice daily.
No, attendees must provide their own accommodation (tent, RV etc) and can book spaces via their website.
The name comes from the ritual that is performed at the end of the event each year in which a large effigy is set alight.

Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Just come back from completing the 24 hour natinal 3 Peaks Challenge with Bookitlist. 25-27th June 2021. From start to finish the group I was in was well looked after.
