Things To Do In Cornwall

Faq?

Cornwall has lots to offer, so it depends on what you’re after. Penzance is good for history and museums, St Ives for art and coastal walks and Padstow for its harbour views. If you want to do some shopping, Truro is ideal, whilst Bodmin is bursting with historical landmarks and country houses.

Cornwall sees over 15 million visitors each year so its beaches can get a little crowded. If you’re looking to avoid the tourists, June or September is a good time to go. You’ll find the weather is good but it’s cheaper and less busy than July and August.

When visiting, many people make the most of the warm waters. There are lots of great diving spots for all ages; many people learn to dive at Pendennis in Falmouth as its steps offer safety whilst there’s a lot of marine life to spot. You can also learn how to kayak, canoe, windsurf and more.
