Relax In A Natural Hot-Spring

Hot springs are common across Greenland but only one is warm enough to bathe in.

Uunartoq (which translates as ‘the warm place’).

Set on a small island in the south of the country, and is made up of three natural hot springs which converge in a small pool, surrounded by a striking panorama of mountains, icebergs and scenic countryside.

The southern towns of Nanortalik and Qaqortoq are about an hour's sail from the island, or from Narsarsuaq (home to one of the country’s international airports), the best way to visit is to stay nearby.
