Despite the name, it's not an especially difficult hike. No technically skills are required it's essentially just a long hike with some altitude thrown in for good measure. You'll need some decent level of base fitness to stay on your feet for the day but no incredible strength is required.
As with any adventure, it's always a good idea to take out travellers insurance. It's usually the cost of a nights drinks and can give you some added peace of mind.
We don't recommend this being your first trek. However if you book it 1-2 months in advance, you've plenty of time to do some trekking in your local surroundings and build up the endurance and strength for it.
In a word, very. You'll need trekking pants, leggings or long underwear and all of the other winter essentials to ensure you're well insulated along the way.
Rob was a fantastic guide. The trip was very enjoyable and Robs knowledge and expertise were great. Would defo recommend
Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!
