Disneyland Paris To Re-Open With Standby Pass For More Rides & Less Queuing

With every cloud comes a silver lining. Disneyland Paris was originally scheduled to reopen in February but has since been postponed until April 2nd. In October the world's most famous theme park rolled out a new Standby Pass to help alleviate wait times and be sure that physical distancing protocols were in place keeping part guests safe.

However, some problems soon arose as technical issues forced the park to suspend the Standby Pass and shortly afterwards, the park was re-closed. The park has since been working diligently on ensuring that things work smoothly a second time around and will be implementing the Standby Pass upon reopening.

The Standby Pass is free and is accessible via the official Disneyland Paris app. To queue for some of the key attractions a Standby Pass is required. This allows a 30-minute window for entrance to the attraction, similar to the FastPass+, but will be subject to availability.

Once you've secured your Park Tickets you can download the app and link it to the app. Once you've entered the park you can then reserve a Standby Pass if one is available. Once you've joined a queue you'll receive a 30-minute window to get to the attraction entrance. This means that whilst it's been a long wait, we can now go on more rides and enjoy more thrills than ever before at Disneyland!
