Itinerary

Cairo Egypt

Day 1 - Arrive

Depart the UK to Cairo. You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for a 3-night stay.

Great Pyramids Of Giza

Day 2/3 - Cairo

Our first couple of full days in Egypt will be spent exploring the cornucopia of cultural epitaphs, museums and monuments. Head to the Great Pyramids of Giza & The Sphinx to tick one of the 7 new world wonders off your bookitlist. You'll also have the chance to visit the Egyptian Museum to gaze into the golden hues of Tutankhamun's treasures.

Luxor

Day 4 - Luxor

The morning will include some free time before a transfer to Cairo airport for a short 1 hour flight to Luxor. We'll then transfer to our cruise boat to begin our epic river Nile cruise. We'll stay overnight on board the ship in Luxor.

Valeyofkings

Day 5 - Valley Of Kings

Today we'll venture across the Nile's West Bank to the Valley of the Kings. We'll explore the ancient wonder of the Temple of Hatshepsut & the Colossi of Memnon. After a day exploring the artefact laden Luxor, we'll have lunch back on board the boat and set sail towards Esna where we'll stay overnight.

Edfu

Day 6 - Edfu & Kom Ombo

We'll begin the day with an early morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BC. Then our cruise will continue toward Kom Ombo to visit its unusual double temple which has courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods.

After our temple touring is done and the sunsets we return to the waterways of the Nile and head towards Aswan where we'll stay overnight.

Aswanegypt

Day 7 - Aswan

Welcome to Aswan, capital of the Aswan Governorate and part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the category of craft and folk art. We'll visit the highlights today with High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Old Granite Quarries.

Then we'll head by boat to the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island. After a spot of traditional Middle Eastern lunch, we'll get to enjoy the awesome experience of boarding a traditional Egyptian sailing boat and cruise around the postcard-worthy Kitchener Island.

Abusimbel

Day 8 - Abu Simbel

The morning can be spent at leisure to roam Aswan and peruse it's pearls. Browse the trinkets at Aswan Bazar or head to the Nubia Museum. We'll later head to Abu Simbel.

Esna

Day 9 - River Nile

Today's day will be at a more casual pace allowing for some rest and reminiscing. We'll arrive after nightfall in Esna, a busy farming town and home of the famous Temple Of Khnum.

Luxor2

Day 10 - Luxor Temples

We'll head back along our previous route this morning to Luxor, arriving at lunchtime. In the afternoon we'll engage in a trinity of timeless temple tours dedicated to the Theban Gods. The Temple Of Karnak may be the most ornate and spectacular yet.

Then we'll head to the Temple Of Luxor which was once tethered to the Karnak Temple by a row of sphinxes. The evening will include a choice of activities or simply exploring on your own two feet to cap off a memorable trip.

Plane Window

Day 11 - Depart Anytime

Transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
