With world-class tapas restaurants, a heritage riddled with iconic art, Gaudi's genius architecture and enough late-night cocktail bars to keep you going for a month, you’ll love getting lost in this city’s labyrinthine streets. This long weekend package is comprised of the highlights that have put Barcelona on the map as a must visit city break destination.
You'll get to explore Guadi's iconic work including the world's most spectacular cathedral the Sagrada Familia, look down on the city from the kaleidoscopic mosaic maze of Guell Park, set sail at sunset and cruise around Barcelona bay toasting champaigne and stay in one of the most ornate trendy neighbourhoods in all of Europe!
Check in to your hotel and quickly settle in before heading out into the bustling streets of Barcelona for our first activity.
In our first activity we'll unearth the history, heritage and stories that have shaped Barcelona's culinary and cultural charm. This history and tapas walking tour will include drinks and a tapas dinner, and is limited to groups of 10 to keep things intimate.
At night head continue exploring the Gothic Quarter for a sumptuous selection of bars. For craft enthusiasts try Craft Barcelona, a quaint watering hole just metres from Plaça Sant Jaume. If you prefer something a tad more subtle and quiet then the neighbouring district of El Born has some great venues such as Antic Teatre and Paradiso.
We'll start the day with a modern twist on an architectural classic. The tour begins by zipping around the Old City’s Gothic Quarter on an eScooter and rides through parks, neighbourhoods, and the Modernista district that inspired Gaudí’s style. Learn about Guadi's influence and see Barcelona's top attraction in and fun interactive way. After 9 stops we'll finally end the tour at the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's masterpiece that has been worked on long after his final breath.
Explore Barcelona from the sea on a comfortable new Sailing Yacht with a professional skipper. Admire the city skyline from the water, and try some delicious appetizers accompanied by wines and champagnes from the best producing regions of Catalonia.
Our final full day will begin with the only alternative bicycle rides in Barcelona. Unlike with standard tours of the city, you won’t simply be learning about Barcelona you’ll be living it too. The whole point of these tours is to not recite facts you could read in a guidebook, but to reveal parts of the city that even many locals haven't discovered yet!
Once you've pedalled your way around the hidden backstreets of Barcelona, it's time to take a view over all you've seen at the abstract mosaic maze of Guell Park. Take a walk up the colorful Dragon Stairway and pay a visit to "el drac". Visit the Hypostyle Room, Nature Square, and other amazing areas.
The evening is your own and having quickly becoming a knowledgeable professional in all things Barcelona, you'll not doubt have a favourite viewpoint or bolthole to spend the evening in.
