Already known for offering a very elevated flying experience (think lie-flat seats, fine dining at 35,000 feet and your own personal wardrobe), the award-winning airline is now making it even easier to hop on board – especially if you're heading to Doha or looking for a posh long-haul stopover.

As of late June, Qatar has added 17 more UK departures per week, including extra daily flights from London Heathrow and Manchester. Heathrow alone will now see 10 Qatar flights a day, meaning more flexibility (and lounge time) for anyone flying east. Services also run from Gatwick, Birmingham, and Edinburgh.

While Doha is the main hub, Qatar’s ever-expanding route network connects UK travellers to over 170 destinations worldwide – from the beaches of Maldives and Bali, to cities like Tokyo, Bangkok, Cape Town, and Auckland. Whether you’re heading on honeymoon, escaping winter, or just craving a long-haul adventure, this gives you even more options (with one very comfortable layover).

Prices for a one-way economy ticket to Doha start at around £375 – but if you’re after the full bells-and-whistles first class treatment (private suite, luxe menu, mini-wardrobe), you’re looking at a cool £4,000 to £6,500 one way.
