Visit The Western Wall

A site of pilgrimage and deep religious significance to the Jewish faithful.

Western Wall

Perhaps Jerusalem’s most iconic and important sight, the Western Wall, or as it’s sometimes called.

The Wailing Wall, an ancient limestone landmark constructed in around 20 BCE, is the only surviving remnant of the Second Jewish Temple which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. Situated in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City, the wall is considered sacred by the Jewish People, an enduring symbol of their faith and history and a major site of prayer and pilgrimage for nearly 2000 years.
